| nContact was founded in 2005 and its mission has been to evolve a new standard of care for atrial fibrillation. Over the past years, the Company’s technology has allowed physicians to develop and evolve three distinct procedures; open chest concomitant surgical, minimally invasive surgical (SUBTLE™ access plus right side chest ports) and the Convergent Procedure (surgical SUBTLE™ access plus EP endocardial ablation and diagnostics). The next evolution will be a “Standardized” Convergent Procedure based on data and consensus protocols developed by both disciplines. Each procedural stage has provided the knowledge and understanding to further evolve care into a simpler, less complex approach. The following chart attempts to describe the Convergent Procedure evolution and the knowledge gained from each step of development. |
